Senior Staff
Head of School
The Head of School is responsible for the effective operation of all aspects of the School program. Parents and students who have any questions or concerns relating to the general operation of ASM or matters pertaining to academic life should contact the Headmaster. He chairs the Curriculum Committee, the Discipline Committee and all faculty meetings.
He ensures the success of parent and student organizations, clubs, publications, student advising, and other educational activities. He works to guarantee that life at ASM reflects the school’s commitment to diversity and respect for others. He ensures that all aspects of the School promote and reflect its ethical aspirations.
He oversees the scheduling of students and the successful advancement of students through ASM and onward to college.![]()
Lower School Coordinator
The Lower School Coordinator ensures the successful functioning of the Lower School and works closely with the Headmaster and the Dean of Students. He oversees the daily program of Grades KG0 to 5, develops schedules, organizes activities, meets with faculty members and parents, maintains discipline and overseas the continuous development and implementation of an age-appropriate curriculum.
Parents and students who have any questions or concerns related to the general functioning of the Lower School, or matters pertaining to academic life in grades KG0 to 5, should contact the Lower School Coordinator.
The Lower School Coordinator reports directly to the Headmaster and is a member of the Curriculum and Discipline Committees.![]()
Dean of Students
The Dean of Students works to ensure the proper functioning of the Upper School (Grades 6-12). He works closely with the Headmaster and the Lower School Coordinator to see that the administrative needs of the school are met and that the Upper School is functioning in an effective and efficient manner. The Dean of Students develops schedules, meets with faculty members and parents, and overseas discipline in Grades 6-12.

Business Manager
The Business Manager is responsible for the fiscal management and control of the school, purchasing of supplies, and personnel matters such as issuance of payroll checks and administration of insurance. To ensure that the needs of the school and its students are met in an orderly and efficient manner and within budgetary allowances, parents and students are requested to respect the integrity of the Business Office and to attend to all financial obligations with ethical good intention.

Homeroom Teacher
Each grade has a homeroom teacher who supports students in meeting the expectations of the school and guides them through their time at ASM. The homeroom teacher organizes the taking of daily attendance and helps with the coordination of class meetings, and grade-specific issues as they arise and assists in the promotion of conversation among grade-level teachers. All Upper School homeroom teachers serve as members of the Disciplinary Committee.
