College Counseling

The road to college begins the minute students arrive on ASM's campus, with enrollment in an appropriately challenging, college preparatory program. The planning begins sophomore year and continues through high school with seminars and visits that address students' questions about applying to college and regular individual conferences with college counselors. The focus is on the student — helping individuals learn more about themselves so they can conduct thoughtful, thorough college searches. Measures of success include family satisfaction with college admissions, 100% placement to four-year colleges and honorary scholarship dollars awarded to ASM seniors.

Having been at ASM, students look for colleges and universities that provide that same kind of faculty access and investment in their success and they frequently consider schools with 2,000-7,000 undergraduates.
